As a manufacturer of HAZLOC-certified equipment Newson Gale takes, wherever possible, a standards-based approach to developing static control solutions. Parts of the guidance in NFPA 77, IEC TS 60079-32-1 “Explosive atmospheres – electrostatic hazards, guidance”, and its identical CENELEC equivalent, CLC TR 60079-32-1, form the basis for the operating characteristics and design inputs of Newson Gale HAZLOC certified static grounding and bonding control equipment. Any design features that could be relevant to the static control equipment’s operating inputs/outputs are listed throughout the Applications and Product sections. Except for Type C FIBC process applications, all of Newson Gale’s solutions ground or bond equipment constructed of metal, therefore most of our active monitoring systems monitor a resistance of 10 ohms or less.
